One of the most exciting things about the Kakapo Recovery Programme is the strong support and enthusiasm from people throughout the world.

Hard working volunteer, Felicity Smith. Every year, the programme receives donations, and historical anecdotes that all help in our conservation campaign. Most years, a host of keen and fit volunteers come to the islands to contribute to the programme.

In this section you can find out about volunteering opportunities; donating to the Kakapo Recovery Programme; as well as corporate partnership information, and a list of further reading and reference material.
